Chair in Penelope

This chair is part of the Invariants collection that is marked by the subtlety of curves and distinctive round silhouettes. This stunning creation is recognized for its sinuous shape that plays with full and empty volumes for a contemporary and sophisticated effect.

Inspired by Gabriel Orozco’s work, this chair is fluid and does not have joints or screws. The round golden seat is made of Frisoli Penelope, a material that mixes carbon fiber and gold. The base and its elongated backrest are made of Frisoli Cloto, a material developed by Frisoli using carbon fiber with drippings of aerospace resins that forms unique patterns.
